Developed for the Leeds University Business School and the School of Law, the Newlyn Building is named after respected University of Leeds economist, Professor Walter Newlyn.

Developed for the Leeds University Business School and the School of Law, the Newlyn Building is named after respected University of Leeds economist, Professor Walter Newlyn. Having opened in late 2019, as part of a £75m transformation project, it is one of the most recent additions to our portfolio of event spaces.
The fully wheelchair-accessible venue offers four rooms, each with a capacity of up to 100 delegates theatre-style, ideally suited for meetings and conferences. Four further rooms, accommodating up to 36 delegates each, offer flexibility for a range of breakout activities.
The Newlyn Building embraces technology and innovation, featuring state-of-the-art technical facilities and audio-visual equipment as standard.
When hired in conjunction with the adjacent Esther Simpson Building, we can accommodate large-scale conferences for up to 390 delegates.
