University House offers a versatile collection of meeting and event spaces, designed to accommodate everything from board meetings and training sessions to networking events and private dining.

With a mix of larger, flexible rooms and smaller, more intimate spaces, the venue is well suited to multi-purpose events, allowing organisers to host plenary sessions, catering and breakout discussions all within one location. 

  • Maximum capacity

    The largest room can accommodate up to 100 delegates theatre-style, 120 for a reception or 75 for seated hospitality.

  • 7 Contemporary meeting rooms

    Extremely flexible layouts, ideal for meetings, sit down meals and self-contained events.

  • Fine dining

    The focus for the hospitality and fine dining services offered by the University of Leeds.

Woodhouse Suite (Great & Little Woodhouse)

  • Flexible suite that can be used as one large space or divided into Great and Little Woodhouse via a partition
  • Accommodates up to 80 cabaret, 110 theatre or 30 boardrooms
  • 85-inch screen with integrated camera, plus handheld and lapel microphones for seamless presentations
  • Standout setting for drinks receptions, networking and private dining
  • Unique character features including display cabinets with trophies and memorabilia
  • Comfortable lounge-style seating areas, ideal for informal conversations
  • Convenient coat and small bag storage located just outside the room

Beechgrove

  • Accommodates up to 35 theatre, 20 cabaret or 18 boardroom style
  • Bright, contemporary space with windows across two full walls, flooding the room with natural daylight
  • 65-inch presentation screen included
  • Ideal for workshops, training sessions and medium-sized meetings
  • Flexible catering options available within the room or nearby

De Grey

  • Fixed boardroom layout for up to 8 delegates
  • 40-inch presentation screen included
  • Ideal for executive meetings, private dining and smaller discussions
  • Light, airy room with comfortable armchairs and coat storage for a more relaxed meeting environment

Cloberry

  • Accommodates up to 20 theatre or 10 boardroom/cabaret style
  • 40-inch presentation screen included
  • Ideal breakout space for larger events taking place in Woodhouse Suite or St George
  • Located in a quieter area of the venue, perfect for focused sessions and smaller meetings

Woodsley

  • Fixed boardroom space for up to 6 delegates
  • Ideal for interviews, private meetings or use as a quiet breakout room
  • Self-contained space designed for confidential discussions
  • In-room facilities add extra convenience for longer sessions

St George

  • Accommodates up to 40 theatre, 20 cabaret or 20 boardroom style
  • 65-inch presentation screen included
  • Flexible layout ideal for workshops, training and collaborative sessions
  • Comfortable meeting environment suited to longer events and all-day use
