A 340-seat lecture theatre with syndicate rooms and access to the Linguistics Department suite of rooms.
The Michael Sadler Building, conveniently located a short walk from the University’s main entrance, is one of our largest spaces available for meetings and conferences.
The building’s namesake was a renowned figure in British modern art history, and former Vice-Chancellor of the University between 1911-1923.
Comprising of a 340-seat lecture theatre, three syndicate rooms of varying sizes and a spacious and light foyer, the Michael Sadler Building works well as a self-contained venue or as part of a larger-scale event.
For larger-scale events combining exhibitions, hospitality receptions and dining or when multiple breakout areas are required, it can be hired in conjunction with other versatile spaces in our portfolio
Other facilities available in the Michael Sadler Building include a recently refurbished 58-seat, high-specification cinema, suitable for private screenings and presentations.
