Housed within our flagship Parkinson Building and home to the iconic tower, featured in the University’s logo, Parkinson Court is a versatile venue for hosting events with grandeur and prestige. The building is named after Frank Parkinson, an alumnus and major benefactor to the University, who helped fund its development ahead of its Royal opening in 1951.
The Grade II listed building offers over 400sqm of space, making it highly flexible for a range of different event formats, including receptions, exhibitions, networking and formal hospitality.
When choosing Parkinson Court to host your event, your guests will become immersed in our rich history and heritage, providing a truly memorable experience. The aesthetic features include art deco architecture, an original Henry Moore sculpture and a historic art gallery for your guests to explore.
For large-scale conferences, Parkinson Court can be combined with the nearby Michael Sadler Building, to accommodate up to 340 delegates.
