Celebrating our Hotel Partners across the City of Leeds!

9 April 2026

Meet Gabby Beetham, Business Development Executive

As part of our Conferences and Events team, Gabby Beetham, Business Development Executive, is responsible for developing and strengthening relationships with our hotel partners across Leeds. These partnerships play an important role in supporting our conference activity, particularly when it comes to sourcing high-quality accommodation for our delegates. Gabby Beetham, Business Development Executive at the University of Leeds.

Over the past year in my role, I’ve had the pleasure of building strong, trusted relationships with many of these partners. We’re incredibly fortunate to work with such reliable and welcoming hotels across the city, all of whom help us deliver a seamless experience for our clients.

If we’re ever unable to host you ourselves, we’ll always connect you with one of our trusted partners to ensure you receive the same high standard of care. Creating the best possible delegate experience is incredibly important to us, and our city-wide partnerships allow us to do just that — working with hotels that share our approach to quality and responsible practices.

Hotel Indigo Leeds

First, we start with Hotel Indigo Leeds, one of the newest additions to the city, opening in summer 2025. The hotel brings a fresh, modern take on Leeds’ industrial heritage, with a design that feels both thoughtful and welcoming. I especially love the colours and overall feel of the space.

With an onsite Mediterranean restaurant and bar, it’s a great spot for delegates and visitors alike. It’s also Green Accredited, meaning sustainability is embedded into how the hotel operates — something I really value in our partners.

Hyatt Place & Hyatt House Leeds

Next up is another exciting addition for 2025: Hyatt Place and Hyatt House Leeds. These hotels offer a mix of contemporary bedrooms and studio apartments, ideal for longer stays, alongside a fully equipped fitness centre and a Latin American rooftop restaurant and bar on the 12th floor.

I recently visited Azotea myself, and the food and overall experience were fantastic — I’d definitely recommend the guacamole and tortilla chips, freshly prepared at your table.

The hotels also take a practical and straightforward approach to sustainability, from reducing water use to cutting down on single-use plastics and operating to recognised environmental standards.

DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds

Just across the road is the DoubleTree by Hilton Leeds, set on Granary Wharf with views over the River Aire. The bedrooms were fully refurbished in 2024, now offering a fresh, contemporary boutique feel.

The hotel is also home to the popular Sky Lounge on the 12th floor — perfect for cocktails and city views. I’ll definitely be back for a Yuzu Drop soon.

Sustainability is a clear priority for the team, with initiatives including working towards Green Key accreditation, tracking event carbon footprints through Hilton LightStay, using LED lighting and 100% renewable energy, and supporting local initiatives such as tree planting and canal litter picking.

Radisson Blu Leeds

Just minutes from both the University campus and the city centre, The Light is home to the stylish Radisson Blu Leeds. This restored Art Deco hotel is ideal for conference guests, offering easy access, flexible group bookings and excellent dining with its open-flame restaurant and bar.

I always love how welcoming the space feels — it’s one of those hotels you step into and instantly feel looked after. As an eco-labelled hotel, it also champions sustainability, supports local communities and promotes inclusion within its team.

The Met Hotel Leeds

Our final stop is The Met Hotel Leeds, an independent gem that’s free from brand rules — and it shows. The recent refurbishment has transformed the space with vibrant colours, personality-filled interiors and a luxurious boutique feel (definitely some home décor inspiration for me).

With several formal dining areas, it’s a fantastic choice for post-conference dinners and networking events. As a Green Key accredited hotel, The Met is committed to responsible hospitality, working closely with local suppliers, reducing environmental impact, empowering dedicated green teams and embracing energy-efficient practices.
